Blessed Second Trimester

I made homemade chicken noodle soup a couple days ago. From scratch. I even boiled down a chicken for the meat and stock. It turned out great. Even more exciting? I actually had the energy AND the motivation to do it. YEAH!!! My energy level is returning, and the nausea is decreasing(be it EVER so slowly). Which is good, because my son is waking up in the night to cry, not napping well, and as a result is like Jekyll and Hyde. One minute he is all grins and hugs and drooly kisses, and the next minute he is crying "Nuuuu!" (that would be "Noo!" in Isaacese) and smacking me. Uh-huh.....how much can be blamed on pregnancy hormones?? No, I just don't like his temper....it is so much like mine! ;) It's a good thing for him I love the little booger so much!

I'm trying a homeopathic remedy for his sleeping problems, it's called Camomile Calm, and helps with soothing. I think he's working on his 2-year molars, although I won't list all the boring symptoms for you. Either that, or he's allergic to something.

Argh, I think I hear the booger, and since he is capable of escaping the crib (!!!) I'd better go check.

Anyone out there still read this??

I'm still here!

When do you think you'll make the transition to a toddler bed? I keep going back and forth on it.

Mine has never woken up in the middle of the night, except for extreme sick situations. No escaping the crib yet either. So no move toward the toddler bed anytime soon.
