Or should I say ear infection? both really apply. It was a busy weekend, with company coming and all, but Friday night was the real treat. The Boy had had the sniffles and a cold for two days, but after four hours of screaming on and off, we took him to the hospital. Fun, fun, fun!! He had a temp of 102, and a VERY ouchy ear. They put some miracle numbing drops in it to get us through the small remainder of the night. So now the poor guy is on Infant Tylenol, Infant Motrin, AND Amoxicillan. Saturday he actually napped, but didn't eat much......I'm worried about dehydration a little, we'll see.
He should be much better today, having been on antibiotics for 24 hours now. Let's hope so.
