Random

Caffeinated Elf over at Antithete tagged me, and I haven't been tagged for a meme in ages!! I feel all special and stuff!

The first rule of the game is to post the rules of the game. Here they are:

  • Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
  • People who are tagged need to write posts in their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
  • At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

Now I have to think...

  • I have a serious office supply fetish. I mean, I could spend hours in a Staples and not know the time has passed. Is there anything better than a new pack of pens or stationery, really? And my art minor doesn't help with that at all!
  • I also love electronic gadgetry....palm pilots, blue tooth head sets, digital cameras.....whaaahoooo!!
  • I come from a family of neat and tidy women.....I only come from there, I don't emulate. I wish I could. I envy those women who are just naturally tidy and organized. I REALLY DO.
  • When walking side by side with someone, I must have them on my right side. Not sure why.
  • Sometimes I dream of attending a seminary. However, I'm not sure how I feel about women pastors.
  • Whenever I take a personality test, I never fall strongly into one category...no matter what test, I'm always strong in around 2-3 categories.
  • I've never seen myself as very girly, but since I had Lydia, she's bringing out all these repressed girly triats....it's kind of frightening!
  • I'm a sucker for genetics, and seeing similar genetic traits between relatives. I think I like the sense of connection it provides.
And now I must tag some people....who might I tag? Mainline Mom, Undercover Mutha,The Redheaded Mommy (no, this isn't me, silly!), and Life with Three Kids
, who better respond since she's relation!

I would love to go to a seminary. Maybe not a Pastor but a teacher.

OK, talk about strong genetics -
* Office supply fetish - check
* Need to have all things gadgetry - check (I think this is because we were raised on Inspector Gadget).
* Family is neet, I am not - check
* I need to be on the left, not the right. Maybe its because I'm supposed to walk with you?
* I don't relate on the seminary thing, that sounds scary and all sorts of responsibilities. I believe God leads many, not just males, into caring for a flock.
* I have trouble taking personality tests, I always change my answers given the day... Does that mean I have multiple personalities?
* God gives us girls to stretch our financial relationships with our husbands. 'But she NEEDS 5 pairs of shoes!'.
* Obviously I'm a sucker for genetics too, mainly because only one of my three actually looks like me, well, my family. Although e is getting to look more like me, she has my beauty mark.

Oh geez, you gotta come tell me when you tag me!

I guess I'm surprised with your more liberal outlook that you still aren't sure about women pastors. Funny thing is, I'm opposed to them but two of my very best friends ARE women pastors. Ironic, eh?
