So Sorry

Well, the Northwest bond didn't go through, AGAIN. I feel so sad for all those teachers and students. What a blow... They lost by 300 votes. The worst part is, from what I understand, is that many of the "no" votes were made out of stupidity, or things like grudges against teachers, etc. Basically, selfish reasons. I just feel so bad for them all. :(

Go figure.

Voters will punish their own children/grandchildren to make a point.

Tomorrow they'll complain about poor test results at the same schools they essentially de-funded. You'd think that they'd have learned by now that you can't have good schools without funding, but I'm sure they thin that the federal government will supply the difference.

Those people are going to be kicking themselves later when little Johnny fails school and can't get a job.

Let's hope so, PawPaw!! Do they have to wait three years before trying again?

I think they should start an add campaign with pictures of infants, toddlers, little kids, big kids...that say "This is who you hurt when you vote no on a millage" or something like that.
