Really, I'm not ignoring you.

I want to post lots of pictures of The Boy, and I know I'm being lax in my posting, but I am FREAKING SWAMPED right now. Can you say, one child's chair to upholster, a double batch of cookies, a three-layer cake, Christmas cards to send, Christmas shopping to complete, and a partridge in a pear tree....okay, there's no partridge, no pear tree, but there is a Boy who won't stay away from the Christmas tree!!

Really, how are all you other mother's of toddlers (MOT) or women who used to be MOT (WWUTBMOT) dealing with the magnetic attraction of the Christmas tree for the munchkin?? ARRGH!!

For awhile he was really good about ignoring it. He'd crawl over, touch the edge of a branch, and we'd say "Don't touch" and he'd back off and crawl away. Then he figured out he could take shiney balls off the tree. So far it's still managable, but I don't know for how long.

Scary breakable ornaments up top, squishy fabric ornaments on bottom. Oh well, I say let her go for it.
